This version of guided meditation, “The Cabin of Dreams” is designed to deeply relax you and get your conscious mind in touch with your dreams while sending you off into a deep sleep. Dreams can be a powerful tool for deciphering psychological and emotional issues you may be experiencing, as well as working through problems and gaining a deeper understanding of self. By first training yourself to become aware of your dreams, and then recording them, either by memory or writing them in a journal, gives you the ability to analyse your dreams.
A simple technique for analysing your dreams is to ask a repeated question for all of the elements within the dream.
“What is the purpose of each element?”
By asking this question in a light meditative state, your unconscious mind will provide the answers. All you have to do is listen without judging or censoring the thoughts that manifest in your mind. It is amazing what you can discover about yourself when analysing your dreams in this simple method.
