Meditation isn’t only about sitting still and clearing the mind. It can be about focusing on one thing at a time. Asking specific questions and listening for the answers can be a very powerful way of empowering your life.
Every day I ask myself these questions of empowerment and meditate on the answers.
- What results do I want?
- What have I done to achieve these results?
- Is what I am doing working?
- If yes, what can I do to improve these results?
- If no, what do I need to change to get the results I want?
I become aware of my surroundings and listen, I mean really listen, to all that flows around me, catching the answers as they pass in whatever form they may take.
It can take a moment or the whole day, but the answers always come, and when they do, I trust in the answer. Even when I have fear or doubt.
With this daily approach, each day I progress, moving forward toward my goals while staying present and in the moment.

Somewhere along my journey I developed the habit of taking time out to have a cigarette as a quiet time to ponder different questions in my life. I want to replace this habit with another strategy for contemplation and I think I have found it.
Thanks for the great article I will practice implementing it in my life.
