There are plenty of other benefits to meditating that as yet do not have scientific studies to back them up. I’m sure in the future many of these will make there way up to the previous list.

  • Enhances self-esteem and self-acceptance
  • Improves resilience against adversity
  • Helps to prevent emotional eating and smoking
  • Helps manage ADHD
  • Helps prevent arthritis & autoimmune diseases
  • Can reduce symptoms of panic
  • Can decrease the need for sleep
  • Helps to reduce substance abuse
  • Improves learning ability
  • Better prepares you for stressful events
  • Reduces the risk of heart diseases and stroke
  • Reduces the risk of Alzheimer’s disease
  • May slow progression of HIV
  • May slow the rate of cellular aging
  • More able to affect the reality on a quantum level
