Always make sure you are fully alert before driving or putting yourself in situations that will require your full attention and competence.
It is also a good idea to keep a journal of your experience within the meditation. A meditative experience can be similar to a dream and disperse from your memory quite quickly after awakening. By keeping a journal of your experiences, you are training your mind to remember what has occurred. This will give you greater insight and understanding of yourself and any messages you receive.
